FAC lolcat obsessed

Hello all.






























Last FAC we managed to survived large packs of dogs, kilted freaks and repetitive Celtic music! Huzzah!
Lucky Joe's was big fun and more people than we thought showed up, so we had a good crowd. We all celebrated being Irish for a day a day early!


We have a request for the Rio as a venue for FAC. I will mention that on a Friday the Rio gets PACKED FAST. The Patio doesn't open until April 1st, so it would best if we could get some RSVPs to get a better idea of number of attendees...we don't want to get too large or small of a table.
So we will start at around 4:30 -- last time we were able to nab a large table by the back of the bar, which was very cool, and the chips and salsa are free and unending!



I would also like to mention that there is a new cab company in town, called Dingo. They are not full service yet, but they are doing weekend nights...and a ride in Ft Collins is only $6! That is from at least Lemay to Overland, and Harmony north to at least Willox (can't remember if they go to LaPorte) And for more than 3 people to or from the same destination, it is only $4 each! Plus they will pick you up at your house, or you can just catch the van at one of the pickup points in Old Town. Vans are brand new club vans and have video screens in them. Pretty cool!

Hi folks-

Just a note to remind you that we are going to blow this popsicle stand early on Thursday and go partake in some Rio madness. I think the goal is to leave here around 3:30, meet at the Rio, and begin celebrating the long weekend. Someone will need to accompany Berri so she is not verbally attacked by any hoodlums or Enrique Iglesias wannabes.

I can't even tell you how a nice frosty marg sounds right now. It's about 600 degrees in this building today. It's that whole running a marathon through the Mojave, seeing mirages, incredible sort of hot in here where only certain kinds of reptiles can be comfortable.
I'm pretty excited. This one should be a good one. Let's do each other a favor and pay attention to the limits (at the Rio itself and our own limits). I am including this little bit of mom-advice mostly for my own benefit, by the way. I can't bail any of you out of jail. I am way too broke. Call a friend. Call a cab. Sleep in my car... I don't care. Just kidding... but seriously, that's an option.

Have a good couple of days. Work late in the sauna today, come in early, use some leave, leave early on Thursday. See you at the Rio!!

Howdy again --

I wanted to tell you guys in advance about FAC, I mean ThAC next week. Due to the Veteran's Day Holiday, we will be going to the RIO (yes we will try it again and everyone will show up early or sit on the floor and I will NOT get verbally abused waiting for my late coworkers).

So there is you first warning, Rio madness, Thursday the 9th, NO LATER THAN 4:00pm, so work longer days to build up some hours, or come in early, or use some leave people.....

Also, did you notice that I didn't add a link to the Road 34 website. The reason why? It is blocked by WebSense. Must be an EXCELLENT bar.
