FAC Winter Bliss

Hey, ya'll.

Well I know we may all be a little tired after sooooo much fun we are going to have at the Winter Bliss Junior Dance--- I mean office party, but we are going to have a very special FAC.

This week we are going to Slider's. I know, odd, but it will be fun because they have NTN Trivia there! We can play some trivia and make ourselves smarter while we drink!

So 4 or 4:30 Friday (tomorrow) at Slider's. That is all.

Hello all.

Well, it was quite an FAC last week. After the roller derby girls and fire eaters at the Surfside, we were all overheated, so we went to cool off at Elliot's, and had a delicious beverage accompanied by a plethora of burlesque and Chippendale dancers. I think I even spied the Thunder from Down Under.

We should expect to have a 'new' bar to go to pretty soon, as the former Starlight has been purchased and is being re-opened at a future date as "Hoodie's" or something like that. I suppose that might be because it was purchased by an ill-disguised Darius Rucker? Who knows.

This week we would like to see another side of the Ft. Collins nightlife that is NOT the Jim Rose Circus, so we will be going to Lucky Joe's.

FAC Post Holiday recovery....longish

Hi ya'll.

Well, I am sure we all had our share of holiday fun which we need to recover from. I have my Christmas tree 99% taken down -- actually just the bare tree needs to be boxed and taken away.

After spending too much forced 'family time' during bad weather and celebration, I need a stiff drink whose name doesn't include the words 'egg' or 'nog' or the dreaded 'homemade'.

FAC this week will be at Crown Pub. I feel it has been too long since we have visited the Crown, and it certainly has one of the best atmospheres of the bars we have frequented. As I am not feeling particularly wealthy after the glut of holiday spending, I will likely try to convince everyone to move to a cheaper bar after one or two at the Crown. There will also be an optional field trip to Choice City Shots for a viewing of fabulous Wizard of Oz decorations from New Year's Eve.

Time will be somewhere around 4:30, weather permitting.

OKAY people. FAC notice is super late this week but ya'll knew it would show up eventually...for better or worse.

This week I thought it would be a good idea to try the Steakout Saloon. For those of you that do not know where that is, it resides directly West of Trailhead, and therefore, directly North of the Rio. We can migrate if it is called for later. Show up around 4:30!

Greetings all!

It's been a while since I have seen your shining faces outside of this place and frankly I'm kind of upset about it.

We all seem to be suffering from a nasty case of Wecantseemtogettogetheranymore-itis. Fortunately there is a cure. To get over our sickness we should meet at the East Coast. I mean the bar, not the beaches of the Atlantic, although we might be able to swing that next week. I'll check for cheap tickets. Street address is 238 Linden in Fort Collins, America.

Let's shoot to meet there at 5:00 PM. Like always, we are always up for moving around to other places.

Bring your party shoes. Bring your friends if they have party shoes. We'll drink, have some good laughs and act like this baby panda. Only don't roll around like that... bar floors are no place to be.
